Questions?

Peter Mennie may have performing down to a science but we recognize there might still be a little mystery involved in hiring him for your next event. Here are some of the questions that have been asked when hiring comic magician Peter Mennie and his gift for entertaining to previous events:

How much space is needed?

The stage should be in a central location with good sight lines, and with no other major activity directly in front. Because a number of audience members are invited to participate during the performance, you will need a minimum 16′ x 8′ (w/d) performing space, clear of all storage. The stage should be at least one step up. Higher platforms will require stairs at the front.

What about seating?

Peter’s shows are very visual. All seating should be kept in front of the stage, not off to the back or sides of the stage. Children actually prefer to sit on the floor n front of the stage rather than in chairs. In the event that the show is not in a formal setting with permanent seats, please leave enough room up front so the children can see and participate in the show.

Do you need any special equipment?

No. Peter provides a fully automated, remote control wireless sound system capable of reaching 400-500 people. Plus he can also connect with any proper on-site sound system. He does, however, require one, 120 volt, 15 amp electrical outlet less than 25ft. from the stage as well as adequate lighting.

Is the show clean and age appropriate?

Yes! Peter takes great pride in the fact that there isn’t any, nor has there ever been any, inappropriate material in his shows – ever!

How long is the performance?

Most preformances are typically 50-60 minutes in length however they can be customized to fit your schedule.
